How Things Work

First Aid Kit

Can be found in the cupboard above the cooker.

Games

A few games can be found in the kitchen cupboard on the left by the desk.

Heating

Mobile thermostat can usually be found in the lounge - simplest way to turn heating on is to slide knob to manual and heating will come on.

The boiler is in the cupboard on the top landing.

Please make sure heating is off when you leave the house.

Laundry & Cleaning

If you are staying more than a week, spare laundry (sheets, duvet covers, pillow cases, towels, tea towels, etc) can be provided free of charge, please just ask.

Office

There is a docking station you can connect your laptop or notebook to. To connect, plug the cable with the orange band at the beginning into your laptop. It plugs into laptops with a USB-C connection but there is a little adapter you can connect to the USB-C connection to make it into an old style USB connection (if you use it please leave it on the desk). Please note the monitors won’t work if you have an old style USB connection or if your device doesn’t support DP alt mode or Thunderbolt 3. But the printer, keyboard, mouse, etc should hopefully all work.

All TV’s have freeview and remote control for each are in each room.
